Space Use at our Community Center!

Our movement studio and front room have been vibrant with activity this year. Members of the community have used this as a place to hold group meetings, offer classes, and have affordable practice and performance space right in the center of town. We have been honored to serve as a central hub for community based arts and organizing efforts.

This year we have been happy to host kickboxing classes, a “pay what you can” yoga class, dance classes for all ages, youth theatre rehearsal space, performances, and more! We even served as a hair and makeup studio for Hollywood actors, who took selfies with enthusiastic youth in the Teen Center.

We have been the gathering place for groups organizing in support of our fellow community members and families. For example, Books Through Bars has sponsored movie nights and a book sale; The Franklin County Diaper Bank has met at TBH and has a collection box for diapers, and The Great Falls Community Shiatsu Clinic has been offering services in the serene setting of our movement studio.

It has been a great year in the community center. We are looking forward to another year of supporting community organising, a diversity of affordable courses, support groups, and body-movement work in our community center.
