2017 Annual Newsletter
Thank you for your dedication, love, and assistance this year!
With the help of our community partners and supporters, The Brick House is making a remarkable impact in the lives of children and families in Montague and Gill. We are deeply grateful to all the organizations who have joined us in coalition work, and who have partnered with us on grants or programs. We are especially grateful to each of you who have volunteered your time or made monetary donations to support our work.
The Brick House has touched the lives of over 300 youth, families, and community members in the past year through our direct services and programs. Even more people have come through our doors to attend special events, or to utilize our space for their own creative projects. It is an honor to serve as a central hub for the activists, artists, and healers who work to make this community safer, stronger, and more beautiful.
As you take a few minutes to look through this annual newsletter, you will learn more about our core programs. These are our vibrant teen center, essential parent and family resource coordination, and space use services. You will also hear from The Brick House Board of Directors, who are eager to recruit new members and to discuss how our organization is moving towards better racial justice practices. This newsletter also includes a goodbye message from a long-term staff member, Jared Libby, who started as an AmeriCorps Member 14 years ago and ultimately led our organization as the Director Of Operations.
We want you to get more involved at The Brick House this year!
Please join us for special events and programs, seek out our services, or volunteer to work alongside us.
We also welcome your donations, which will go directly towards supporting program operations, supplies, and staffing costs. Please give what you can. We rely on your support to reach each teen, each parent, and each child with our services.
